Max Klein is a missionary who spent thirteen years teaching Bible doctrine in South Korea, before moving to Chiangmai, Thailand. His goal is to disseminate the doctrinal teachings of R. B. Thieme, Jr.
Max holds an English Bible study group every day, and a monthly seminar with Thai translation. However, his main means of dissemination of the doctrines is through the written word, as introduced on this website.
about R. B. Thieme, Jr.
Robert B. Thieme, Jr. was the pastor of Berachah Church, Houston, Texas, until his retirement from the pulpit in 2003. His distinguished academic background includes the University of Arizona (Phi Beta Kappa) and Dallas Theological Seminary (Summa Cum Laude). His graduate studies were interrupted by World War II military service during which he rose to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the Army Air Corps.
After completion of his studies, he came to Berachah Church in 1950. Extensive training in Greek, Hebrew, theology, history, and textual criticism became the foundation for his demanding professional life of studying and teaching the word of God.
Thieme's teachings are based on the original languages of scripture in the light of the historical context in which the Bible was written. He has developed an innovative system of vocabulary, illustrations, and biblical categories designed to communicate the truth of God's Word. The unique focus of his ministry concentrates on procedures for living the Christian way of life.
